| This is a NEW FIND coming out of India. It is the Gemstone Iolite (Mineral = Cordierite) that has inclusions that
are similar to Sunstone. There have been a few jewelry contests where one of the winning entries utilized this material. In searching for
more information, the following was found:
"Iolite Sunstone is a rare, natural hybrid gemstone primarily from India, combining lavender-blue Cordierite (Iolite) with sparkly, reddish-orange Feldspar (Sunstone) inclusions. Known as a "stone of leadership," it balances dreamy, intuitive energy with practical, joyful motivation. It blends Third Eye (insight) and Solar Plexus (power) chakra energies, aiding in self-confidence, creativity, and finding one's path. Key Characteristics and Benefits: Appearance: Displays a unique, shimmering effect (aventurescence) caused by inclusions of hematite or copper-colored platelets within the blue-violet, translucent stone. Iolite Properties: Often called the "Viking Compass". It is believed to aid in mental clarity, inner vision, and reducing stress. Sunstone Properties: Associated with energy, joy, and, vitality. As seen in the photo, due to the inclusions, the polish on the surface may show some pitting or other depressions. For Square payments using credit cards, there will be a 3.5% charge due to fees incurred. Square allows ACH payments at a 1% Fee.
Venmo payments have no fees if your Venmo balance or bank accounts are used for payments. There will be a 3.5% charge if using credit cards with Venmo due to fees incurred.
